FACTRY London was founded by a group of designers who wanted to create a more accessible route into garment development and manufacturing.

What began as a shared space to develop our own work progressively grew into a small sample studio. By combining our machinery, knowledge and network of designers and technicians, we realised that others could benefit from the same facilities, resources and production capabilities.

Based in East London, FACTRY works across design development, pattern cutting, sampling, manufacturing, printing and finishing. We work closely with independent designers, emerging brands and established creatives, adapting the process around each project rather than forcing every idea through the same system.

Clients can meet with us, visit the studio, view work in development and discuss their projects directly with our team. We believe this closer relationship creates a more transparent and trusted production process, while allowing us to better understand the individual requirements of each project.

From one-off pieces and samples through to small-batch production. FACTRY was built to make the process of getting something made feel more accessible, collaborative and personal.

Alongside client work, FACTRY remains a working environment for our own designers and projects. That balance keeps the studio connected to the realities of designing, developing and producing clothing not simply manufacturing it.
